Our Clinical Approach

As experts in our own struggle and how it relates to others we see the value in evidence-based practices when they are carefully combined with an anti-oppression perspective. We use a combination of interventions and perspectives to help individuals achieve their goals.

The Cognitive Model

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a time-sensitive, structured, present-oriented psychotherapy that has been scientifically tested and found to be effective in more than 2,000 studies for the treatment of many different health and mental health conditions. When implemented correctly, CBT helps individuals get better and stay better.
The Cognitive Model

PSYCHODYNAMIC

A form of talk therapy that explores the connection between a patient's past experiences – often from childhood – and their current mindset. Clients meet with a clinician to help increase their insight into how their feelings and repressed emotions impact the current reality. Therapists may encourage civic engagement or social justice activism as part of the healing process.
The Cognitive Model

PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, or PAP, combines safe, legal psychedelic treatment and dedicated psychotherapy sessions with a licensed mental health professional. PAP addresses the root causes of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions for positive, safe, and longer lasting clinical outcomes.
The Cognitive Model

SPIRITUALLY-LED

Spiritually-led therapists can help clients reconnect the soul with the body and mind, helping them to explore the deeper facets of emotional, mental and spiritual well being. Every session looks different, however the focus remains on the client's goals and their connection to their spirituality.
The Cognitive Model

BRIEF SOLUTION FOCUSED (BSFT)

Brief Solution-Focused Therapy is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that emphasizes building solutions rather than focusing on problems.
