02
Book a Free Consultation
Once you’ve found a therapist that resonates with you, the next step is to schedule a free consultation. This is a quick and easy way to:
-
Meet your therapist and get to know their approach.
-
Ask any questions about the process.
-
Confirm that they’re the right fit for you.
Your consultation is free, and there’s no commitment to continue if it doesn’t feel right.
03
Begin Your First Therapy Session
After your consultation, your first session is all about getting to know you. Here’s what happens:
-
Your therapist will ask about your goals and what brought you to therapy.
-
Together, you’ll create a plan that works for you, including how often you’ll meet and what to focus on.
-
You’ll have the chance to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there’s no pressure.
04
Build a Routine with Regular Sessions
Therapy is a process that happens over time. With regular sessions, you’ll work with your therapist to:
-
Explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive space.
-
Learn new tools to handle challenges in your life.
-
Adjust your goals and approach as needed to make sure therapy works for you.
Most people start with weekly sessions and adjust the schedule as they go. And if you ever feel like your therapist isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you find someone who is.
05
Collaborative Care
Medication Support (If Needed)
If you and your therapist think medication could help, we’ll:
-
Provide a referral to a prescriber who accepts your insurance.
-
Work with you to ensure the process feels collaborative and supportive.
Note: Medication is always optional and based on your comfort level.
Higher Levels of Care (If Necessary)
If you and your therapist decide you need more intensive support, we’ll help you explore options like:
-
Inpatient facilities
-
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
-
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
We’ll guide you through the enrollment process and ensure continuity of care.
